Woodsmith Project

Public Consultation

Welcome

Over the last two years, we have undertaken a detailed technical review of the Woodsmith Project. This has identified enhancements to the engineering design that will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the project for the long-term.

We are preparing to submit a planning application early next year, focused on the amendments to the current approved development at Woodsmith Mine, and our sites at Ladycross Plantation and Lockwood Beck.

This website provides information about the proposed amendments, which you can explore in more detail using the tabs above. This website is part of a pre-application consultation, and we are keen to hear your views. You can do this by completing the feedback form. In addition, we are holding five community drop-in events if you would like to find out more.
